February 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Italian Financial Guard's Economic Crimes Investigation Department has completed an investigation into the Twitter social network, acquired in 2022 by Elon Musk and renamed X.

ABC.AZ reports, citing newspaper Corriere della Sera, that the reason for the investigation was the suspicion of non-payment of €12.5 million in VAT in 2022.

The investigation was completed back in April 2024, but it has only now become known about it.
