February 27, Fineko/abc.az. By June 1, 2025, the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection plans to prepare and submit proposals for the introduction of an hourly minimum wage in the appropriate manner.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the roadmap for 2025 on the "workforce" indicator of the Business Ready report.

At that, it is expected that by July 1, 2025, in order to ensure the inadmissibility of discrimination and sexual harassment in labor relations, substantive proposals for improving labor legislation will be prepared and submitted.

The roadmap for 2025 for improvements and communications in the relevant area related to the "workforce" indicator of the World Bank Group's Business Ready report was approved by the Commission on Business Environment & International Ratings.
