March 4, Fineko/abc.az. There are 136,000 foreign students studying in Turkey, including 27,000 Azerbaijani citizens. The number of our students using the scholarship system is 20,000.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Serdar Gundogan, the representative of the Turkish Educational Foundation in Azerbaijan, as saying this at the Stratcom Public Forum panel discussion in Baku.

"The Turkish Educational Foundation has official representative offices in 56 countries. In the countries where our foundation operates, we provide scholarships to 70,000 young people," he said.
