Tesla shares have fallen in value

March 5, Fineko/abc.az. Tesla shares fell 4.4% to $272.04 after trading on March 4. At least, decrease reached 8%.

February was the worst month for Tesla shares since the end of 2022, with company's shares falling 28%.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to Bloomberg that Tesla shares fell amid a general market decline due to concerns about the global trade war launched by U.S. President Donald Trump.

He imposed a 25% tariff on imports from Canada and Mexico and a 20% tariff from China. One company that could be affected by the tariffs is Tesla, as some of its main suppliers are located in Canada and Mexico.

In China, the largest electric vehicle market, Tesla's sales fell 49.2% year-over-year to 30,688 vehicles, the lowest since August 2022.
