Startups in Azerbaijan attracted investments for $1.3 million

March 12, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani startups have recently attracted investments for $1.3 million, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Rashad Haligov, deputy chairman of board of the Agency for Innovation & Digital Development under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport, as saying this at the First National Forum on Financial Accessibility.

He added that other mechanisms of financial accessibility for startups include acceleration and incubation programs, as well as various hackathons:

"As part of the acceleration and incubation programs, as well as various hackathons held in our country recently, our startups have been able to attract investments of $1.3 million. A significant part of them, about $1 million, was provided by international acceleration platform StartUp Guys Wise.
