March 13, Fineko/abc.az. Xpeng Motors (China) sets ambitious goals in the field of technologies. In the coming years, the company intends to start mass production of flying cars and humanoid robots.

He Xiaopeng, the chief of Xpeng, said that the company may become the first to start mass production of flying cars. At the last AI Day 2024, the Iron humanoid robot was presented, which is already actively used in factories in Guangzhou. This robot weighs 70 kg and is 173 cm tall.

Iron has high mobility thanks to more than 60 joints and 200 degrees of freedom. It runs on a Turing AI chip, which is capable of processing complex algorithms and adapting to various conditions. Xpeng plans to use Iron as a personal assistant in the future.

By 2026, Xpeng expects to launch humanoid robots with the initial capabilities of the third level. This robot modification will be able to perform many tasks independently, but more complex operations will require human intervention.
