March 13, Fineko/abc.az. Oliver Blume, CEO of German automobile concern Volkswagen (VW), announced plans to start production of military equipment at his enterprises.

In an interview with the German press, Blume noted that VW management is carefully studying the growing defense needs of Germany, including in matters related to vehicles for the needs of the Bundeswehr. The CEO of the German carmaker recalled that the company has experience in manufacturing vehicles for the German army. At that, according to Blume, there are currently no specific plans in this direction.
