March 17, Fineko/abc.az. New Zealand has extended sanctions against the Russian Federation until March 17, 2028,
ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand.
"The New Zealand government has extended the sanctions against Russia, which expired on March 17, 2025, for another three years. The decision to extend the restrictions was made on Friday, March 14, and came into force today," the New Zealand Foreign Ministry said.
The Ministry recalled that New Zealand's anti-Russian sanctions "impose a number of obligations on all citizens of this country, prohibiting or restricting certain types of activities related to the Russian Federation". New Zealanders are also "required to report any suspicious activity" that may be related to trade and economic relations with Russia.
