March 18, Fineko/abc.az. Western sanctions cannot stop Iran's oil exports, the country will protect its share in the global market, ABC.AZ reports, quoting government spokesman Fatemi Mohajerani.

According to Mohajerani, several ministries of the country are working to counteract sanctions, the Ministry of Oil occupies a central place.

The expert called the new US sanctions against Oil Minister Mohsen Reza Paknejad evidence that Washington is concerned about Iran's successful attempts to circumvent previous restrictions.

The sanctions also affected several Hong Kong-flagged oil tankers. They were allegedly involved in the export of Iranian crude oil.
