March 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2025, 338,600 foreigners and stateless persons from 162 countries visited Azerbaijan (0.7% less against Jan-Feb 2024).

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee, that 23.4% of the arrivals were citizens of the Russian Federation, 18.6% - Turkey, 9.9% - India, 9.3% - Iran, 5% - Georgia, 3.3% - Kazakhstan, 3.2% - Pakistan, 2.9% each - the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, 1.8% - Kuwait, 1.7% - Uzbekistan, 1.6% were from China, 1.4% each from Turkmenistan and Ukraine, 1.2% from Israel, 1.1% from Oman, and 11.3% from other countries. 72.2% of the arrivals were men, 27.8% were women.

Compared with Jan-Feb 2024, the number of visitors from Israel increased 3.9-fold, from Tajikistan - 1.9-fold, from China - 1.8-fold, from Spain - 1.7-fold, from Jordan - by 44.6%, from India - by 44%, from Kyrgyzstan - by 25.7%, from From Kazakhstan - by 21%, from Pakistan - by 19.6%, from Egypt - by 18.9%, from the USA - by 17.4%, from the Netherlands - by 16.5%.

Compared with Jan-Feb 2024, the number of visitors from the EU member states decreased by 1.6% to 11,000 people, from the Persian Gulf countries - by 9.9% to 62,100 people, from the CIS countries - by 9.2% to 107,400 people, and from other countries - increased by 10.8%. up to 158,100 people.

71.2% of foreigners and stateless persons who arrived used air transport, 27.2% - by rail and road, 1.6% - by sea.
