March 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2025, the number of Azerbaijani citizens who traveled abroad reached 296,300 people.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the State Statistics Committee, the figure is 0.1% less against Jan-Feb 2024.

36.9% of Azerbaijani citizens visited Turkey, 15.8% - the Russian Federation, 11.4% - Georgia, 10.7% - Iran, and 25.2% - other countries.

Men made up 67.5% of those who left, while women - 32.5%.

The number of Azerbaijani citizens who traveled to Iran grew by 25.4% and to Georgia by 17.4%, while the number of visitors to Turkey decreased by 2.7% and to the Russian Federation by 27.7%.

For Jan-Feb 2025, 68.1% of Azerbaijani citizens traveled abroad by air, 29.7% by rail and road, and 2.2% by sea.
