March 19, Fineko/abc.az. General Motors is going to use Nvidia's experience in the field of artificial intelligence to create next-generation cars, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Quartz.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced the partnership at the annual GDC conference in San Jose, California, on Tuesday, March 18.

GM will use the Nvidia Drive AGX platform, an on-board computer that delivers “up to 1,000 trillion operations per second on a high-performance computer” and includes hardware and software to develop autonomous driving features as well as immersive in-cabin capabilities. The automotive giant will build its next-generation vehicles on this platform, which, according to Nvidia, will accelerate development and adoption of safe autonomous vehicles on a large scale.
