March 19, Fineko/abc.az. Fitch Ratings has updated the baseline forecast of the average price of natural gas in Europe for 2025-2028.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the TTF index, the cost of gas in Europe per 1,000 cubic feet (28,3168 cu m) in 2025 will be $12 (preliminary forecast is $11), in 2026 – $8, in 2027 – $7 (forecast has not changed), in 2028 it is likely to be at the level of $7.

According to the forecast, in 2024, the price of gas in Europe according to the TTF index will be $11 per 1,000 cubic feet.

On December 31, 2020, transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe via the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) began.
