March 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2025, Azerbaijan exported 4,045 tons of hazelnuts for $28,116.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the State Customs Committee, that hazelnut exports grew by $5,266 (23%) in value and by 249 tons (6.6%) in quantity against Jan-Feb 2024.

Over Jan-Feb 2024, 3,796 tons of nuts for $22,850 were exported from Azerbaijan.

For Jan-Feb 2025, the share of hazelnut exports made up 0.59% of Azerbaijan's overall exports and nearly 5.8% of non-oil exports.

The average export price of 1 kg of hazelnuts for Jan-Feb 2025 was 11.82 manats (1.58 manats, or 15.5% more than a year earlier). Over Jan-Feb 2024, the average export value of 1 kg of hazelnuts reached 10.23 manats.
