April 14, Fineko/abc.az. North Korea is constructing the largest and most technologically advanced warship in its history, ABC.AZ reports, referring to CNN.

Satellite images show the ship under construction at the Nampho shipyard, nearly 60 km from Pyongyang. According to analysts, speech is about a guided missile frigate, which may be equipped with hypersonic ballistic missiles.

The vessel is close to 140 m long, making it the largest warship ever built in North Korea.

If North Korea really equips the frigate with hypersonic ballistic missiles, which were tested in January, this could seriously change the balance of power in the region, warns retired Admiral Kim.

According to the U.S. Department of Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) for 2021, the North Korean navy has roughly 400 combat boats and 70 submarines.
