April 14, Fineko/abc.az. The population of Japan in October 2024 was 120.3 million people (898,000 fewer than in October 2023).

ABC.AZ informs, referring to Japanese news agency Kyodo News. It was noted that the total population of the country, including foreigners, has been declining for the 14th year in a row.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs & Communications of Japan, the increase was registered only in Tokyo and nearby Saitama Prefecture.
