April 16, Fineko/abc.az. In March 2025, Azerbaijan lowered its position by one notch and took 91st place among 154 countries in terms of high-speed Internet (73.60 Mbit/s).

According to the Speedtest Global Index, the average Internet speed in Azerbaijan in March 2025 was 92% higher versus March 2024 (38.32 Mbps).

Singapore took the 1st place on broadband Internet speed in March (357.52 Mbit/s), and Syria took the last place (3.21 Mbit/s).

In March, Azerbaijan rose by 3 positions and took 52nd place among 102 countries in terms of mobile Internet speed (74.11 Mbps). The UAE took the first place (543.29 Mbit/s), the last – Bolivia (13.09 Mbit/s).

In March 2025, Baku ranked 114th among 197 cities in terms of broadband Internet speed (73.32 Mbps). In March, Baku ranked 80th among 151 cities on mobile Internet speed (90.8 Mbps).
