April 17, Fineko/abc.az. India is proposing for American companies that want to leave China to move production to its territory, ABC.AZ reports, refering to The Economic Times.

According to the newspaper, in this way New Delhi wants to benefit from the expected global restructuring of supply chains, especially in sectors such as electronics and pharmaceuticals.

"The government has outlined 10-12 sectors such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, automobiles, toys, air conditioners, household appliances where India can have a competitive advantage, and these sectors will be supported," the source said.

According to the paper, the government also supports Indian corporations in their quest to enter the U.S. market.
