April 17, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of 2025, SOFAZ acquired 18.7 tons of gold.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to SOFAZ that at the end of 2024, Fund's gold reserves amounted to 146.6 tons, as of April 1, 2025, this figure grew up to 165.3 tons. In total, SOFAZ has acquired 63.5 tons of gold since the beginning of 2024.

In the 1st quarter of 2025, investments in gold totaled $16.134 billion, which is equivalent to 25.8% of Fund's investment portfolio.

In 3 months, SOFAZ increased its investments in gold by $3.779 billion. At the end of 2024, investments in gold amounted to $12.354 billion (20.6% of the investment portfolio).
