Oil ends this week with a rise of 5%

April 18, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades prices ended Thursday’s trading in plus and rose by the end of the week after two consecutive weekly declines.

Futures for oil of benchmark grades Brent and WTI are not being traded on Friday, as the exchanges are closed due to Good Friday.

Azerbaijani oil has increased in price

Following the trading on April 17, June’s Brent crude futures grew by $2.11 (3.20%) to $67.96 per barrel, while WTI crude futures for May rose by $2.21 (3.54%) to $64.68 per barrel.

By the end of this week, Brent crude oil rose by 4.94%, WTI oil – by 5.17%.
