April 21, Fineko/abc.az. Starting from May 1 of this year, through the Unified Health Information System of the Ministry of Health's “sick leave for insured persons” will be issued in the form of electronic documents in medical institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Health and the Association for the Management of Territorial Medical Units (TƏBIB).

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant information was shared joinly by TƏBIB, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

From now on, the sick leave will be certified by medical institutions with an electronic signature and sent electronically to the employer and the State Social Protection Fund (DSMF), subordinate to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

This electronic document will become the basis for the employee to receive DSMF benefits for temporary disability, pregnancy and childbirth.

For this purpose, the Ministry of Health, together with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, has combined information on electronic sick leave in a single electronic register.

As a result, employers will be able to easily receive these electronic newsletters through the relevant information system of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, and medical workers through the Electronic Health portal and a mobile application.

The transition to the electronic bulletin system creates conditions for eliminating excessive workload and minimizing time losses associated with the storage and processing of paper media in this area, increasing flexibility and quality of services, and transparency.
