April 21, Fineko/abc.az. American electric car manufacturer Tesla has postponed the release of a cheap version of Model Y.

ABC.AZ reports that initially, Tesla planned to release a stripped-down version of Model Y in the 1st half of 2025. The release has now been postponed for at least three months. However, the reasons are not disclosed.

Earlier it was reported that Tesla intends to produce 250,000 cheaper Model Y in the U.S. in 2026. Tesla is also planning to release a simplified version of its compact sedan Model 3.
