April 21, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2025, Azerbaijan exported 6,395 tons of hazelnuts (1,073 tons, or 20.2% more against Jan-Mar 2024).

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Customs Committee, that the value of exports amounted to $43.338  million. The cost of exported nuts in 2025 increased by $11.09 million (34.4%). For comparison, for Jan-Mar 2024, the cost of exported nuts was $32,248.

In 2024, the export price of a ton of nuts was $6,059, and in 2025 it grew up to $6,776. The export value in manats of 1 kg of nuts increased from 10.30 up to 11.52 manats.

This year, hazelnuts made up 0.68% of overall exports and close to 5.61% of non-oil exports.
