April 21, Fineko/abc.az. American automaker Ford has temporarily stopped supplying some models of its cars to China because of unfolding of trade war between Washington and Beijing.
ABC.AZ reports, referring to The Wall Street Journal, that , Ford stopped supplying F-150 Raptor pickups, Mustang sports coupes and Bronco SUVs this week. Deliveries of the Navigator SUV owned by Ford Lincoln to China were also suspended.
China's duties on the mentioned cars, the newspaper notes, have recently increased to 150%, the price of the flagship version of the F-150 pickup truck is about $100,000.
In total, the company shipped close to 5,500 vehicles of those models to China last year.
