April 21, Fineko/abc.az. The company is negotiating with the government and international financial institutions to raise financing for the purchase of more than 2 bcm of gas.

ABC.AZ informs that according to company's press service, Naftogaz of Ukraine has purchased 1.5 bcm of natural gas since the beginning of 2025 in preparation for heating season 2025/2026.

According to a report by Naftogaz’s acting chairman R. Chumak, 1.5 bcm of gas has been contracted since the beginning of 2025: 800 million cu m was urgently imported at the beginning of the year, 400 million cu m will arrive in Ukraine in preparation for next winter. Naftogaz purchased another 300 million cu m of LNG from ORLEN.

On April 5, 2025, the company reported the import of 800 million cu m of gas since the beginning of 2025.
