April 21, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish Minister of Energy & Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar answered questions from the correspondent of the Anatolian Agency on the issues of the agenda in Moscow, the capital of Russia.

ABC.AZ informs that he added that Turkey's cooperation with Russia in the field of energy has been going on for many years.

The minister added that along with natural gas and oil, cooperation in the field of nuclear energy, represented by Turkey's largest foreign investment, the Akkuyu nuclear power plant, is very important.

The minister said that during his visit to Moscow, he met with Russian Deputy PM Alexander Novak and Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev.

He noted that Turkey is the fourth largest consumer of natural gas in Europe, and Russia is an important supplier in this area.
