May 2, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has completed the electronic certification process for the export of crops to Russia, Balarahim Guliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA), stated at the 4th Agribusiness Development Forum held in Baku, Report informs.

"The phytosanitary systems of the two countries have been integrated. Currently, we are trying to develop work related to the export of livestock products," the official noted.

Guliyev also highlighted that work is being done on the export of Azerbaijan's poultry products to Arab countries, as well as to the US: "One of the key conditions for the export of livestock is the creation of disease-free zones in the country. We have achieved certain successes in this regard. Azerbaijan has already received the status of a country free from small ruminant plague disease."
