May 5, Fineko/abc.az. Pharmaceutical products account for 49% of Hungary's exports to Azerbaijan, or $33.3 million.

ABC.AZ informs that Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Tamas Torma said about this at the international conference "Azerbaijan's pharmaceutical industry: Yesterday, today and tomorrow" held in Baku.

The diplomat emphasized that Hungary is the seventh largest investor in Azerbaijan in terms of foreign direct investments, and ranks first among countries investing in Azerbaijan from the Central European region.

"Although Hungary has not yet invested in Azerbaijan's pharmaceutical sector, pharmaceutical products account for a large share of exports. Hungarian pharmaceutical companies and Scandens Pharmaceutical Industries are looking for cooperation opportunities in this area," the ambassador said.
