May 7, Fineko/abc.az. The temporary restriction on the import of products from some Ukrainian producers, imposed by the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA) because of identified inconsistencies in frozen beef from Zagotservice LLC, Myasodar LLC, Shid-Zahid LLC (East West LLC), Verbivske LLC and frozen chicken from Lutsk Agricultural Company LLC, has been lifted.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the AQTA notification, the Ukrainian State Service for Food Safety & Consumer Protection conducted veterinary control and lab tests at enterprises. The Agency was provided with detailed information on the sanitary measures and epizootic monitoring carried out.

Taking into account the guarantees provided by Ukraine for compliance with veterinary standards and regulations, as well as requirements related to mutual import-export operations, the temporary restriction on the import of products from the above-mentioned enterprises to Azerbaijan has been lifted. The Ukrainian State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection has been officially notified of the AQTA decision.
