May 13, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has developed a special portal for online licensing.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Hayaleddin Tagiyev, the head of the Department of Regulation of Payment Services & Payment Systems of the CBA .

According to Tagiyev, the goal of the portal is to completely abandon the use of paper media.

"An organization wishing to obtain a license will upload documents to the portal, and the CBA will check them," the CBA representative said.

Tagiyev noted that the launch of the portal will increase efficiency and have positive impact on market development.

"Currently, the process is at the final stage, and we will start using the portal in real mode in the near future," Tagiyev emphasized.
