Saudi Humain and U.S.’ giants launch large-scale AI projects

May 14, Fineko/abc.az. American technology companies have signed large-scale agreements with Saudi AI company Humain aimed at developing artificial intelligence in the region.

ABC.AZ reports that Nvidia will supply Humain with 18,000 of the latest chips GB300 Blackwell, which will be used in 500 MW data centers for training and deploying advanced AI systems.

AMD is investing $10 billion in a joint project with Humain to create an infrastructure for AI computing.

Qualcomm has signed a memorandum of understanding with Humain to jointly develop a central processing unit for data centers.

These agreements are part of a broader Saudi initiative to invest $14.9billion in the artificial intelligence sector, including partnerships with companies such as Google Cloud, Lenovo, Alibaba Cloud, Groq and Salesforce.

Saudi Arabia aims to become a global hub for artificial intelligence by diversifying its economy and developing advanced technologies as part of its strategy Vision 2030.
