May 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2025, finances for 98.4 million manats were returned from the State Budget of Azerbaijan to individuals and legal entities.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan that 2.9 million manats of the returned funds are VAT paid by foreigners and stateless persons for non-manufactured goods and medical services in Azerbaijan.

62.171 million manats of VAT were reimbursed from the State Budget for goods and services purchased by individuals from retailers, public catering, medical institutions (including private practice), as well as for hotel accommodation in the liberated territories.

9.063 million manats of VAT were also refunded to citizens for residential and non-residential premises purchased non-cash from persons engaged in construction activities in Azerbaijan.

In addition, for Jan-Apr, 23.848 million manats were refunded for taxes, duties, interest and financial sanctions.
