May 15, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Apr 2025, 1,179,500 passengers were transported by air in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the indicator is 103,700 passengers, or 9.6% more versus Jan-Apr 2024.

Over Jan-Apr 2025, 99.9% of air transportation was carried out by state-owned enterprises and 0.1% by private enterprises.

Cargo transportation by this type of transport grew by 2%, or by 2,600 tons, up to 130,100 tons.
