May 15, Fineko/abc.az. The production of agro-drones will be launched in Azerbaijan as part of cooperation with one of the Turkish companies.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting the director of the Center for Agrarian Innovations, Anar Jafarov, as saying this at the II Agricultural Innovation Forum in Baku.

"This company is mainly engaged in the production of drones for the agricultural sector and has reached an agreement with Baku Engineering University on the creation of a production site," he said, without disclosing the name of the Turkish partner.

He added that drones manufactured in Azerbaijan will be included in the Ministry's list of innovative equipment:

"Local farmers will be able to benefit from 40% government support when purchasing these drones."
