May 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2025, 3,672,100 tons of cargo were transported by rail through Azerbaijan, 1,763,900 tons by sea, and 2,553,000 tons by road.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee, that volume of cargo transported along the East–West corridor totaled 3,994,800 tons, including 1,875,400 tons along the Europe–Caucasus–Asia corridor, 2,441,100 tons along the North-South corridor, and 1,418,400 tons along the Northwest corridor, 134,700 tons along the Southwest corridor.

46.3% of cargo transported by rail, 45.2% by road, and 95.2% by sea accounted for transit cargoes.
