TikTok's value has increased by 26% this year

May 16, Fineko/abc.az. TikTok remained the most expensive brand in China in 2025, according to annual report Brand Finance China 500.

ABC.AZ informs that the brand value of social network TikTok/Douyin grew by 26% during the year (up to $105.8 billion).

The State Grid Corporation of China moved to 2nd place from 3rd (+20%, up to $85.6 billion), pushing Industrial and Commercial Bank of China to the 3rd position (+10%, to $79.1 billion).

The following three places remained with banks: China Construction Bank (+19.5% up to $78.4 billion), Agricultural Bank Of China (+16, up to $70.2 billion), Bank of China (+26.5%, up to $63.8 billion). Moutai brand of strong alcoholic beverage retained the 7th position (+16.5%, $58.4 billion).

Telecommunications brand China Mobile moved to the 8th place from the 9th, the value of which increased by 6% and reached $47 billion. Tencent took the 9th place with $44 billion, having risen from the 10th position last year. Ping An insurance brand dropped to 10th place from 8th (-2.6%, to $43.2 billion).

WeChat brand dropped out of Top 10, and this year it is in 13th place.

The fastest growing brand was Little Swan, which increased in price by 3.1 times (up to $1.8 billion). Under this name, the Midea Group produces washing machines and air conditioners.

The total value of the 100 most expensive brands in China has reached $2 trillion, according to the survey.

The total value of the 64 banking brands in Top 100 grew by 4% during the year up to $467.6 billion. Meanwhile, 13 insurance brands fell by 2% (to $133.9 billion).

The rating included three representatives of the automotive industry, as a result of which there were 30 of them, and the total value of their brands increased by 3%. BYD is the most expensive automotive brand (+16%, up to $14 billion).

PetroChina Co. (+17%, up to $33.3 billion) and Sinopec (+5%, up to $29.8 billion) became the most expensive brands in the oil and gas industry, which as a whole showed an increase of 8% (up to $72 billion). A total of six brands are represented in this sector.
