May 19, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Finance explained the reason why the available finances of the State Budget are placed only in large banks.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Finance that the transfer of the free balance on a single treasury account is regulated by the relevant rules.

Thus, in accordance with the requirements of the "Rules for the transfer to management of the free balance of the single Treasury account during the budget year", approved by Cabinet’s Resolution #62 dated April 6, 2007, the free balance of the single treasury account can be placed in the form of term deposits in the five largest credit institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan with a banking license, international credit the rating, as well as the high level of capitalization and volume of assets.
