May 19, Fineko/abc.az. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on conscription of citizens for military service from July 1 to July 30, 2025 and on the retirement of conscripts.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the document signed by the head of state, citizens of Azerbaijan who were born in 2007 and reached the age of 18 on the day of conscription (inclusive), as well as those born in 1995-2006, under the age of 30, who did not complete military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, are not eligible for Those who have been suspended from conscription or who have not been released from conscription will be called up for military service from July 1 to July 30, 2025.

Also, in accordance with the presidential order, conscripts who have completed the term of service envisaged in Article 38.1.1 of the Law on Military Duty & Military Service will be discharged from the reserve from July 1 to July 30, 2025.
