May 19, Fineko/abc.az. With the support of the Ministry of Economy and the Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), organized by the Azerbaijan Exporters Club, a meeting was held with representatives of the Association of Poultry Meat & Egg Producers and Exporters of Azerbaijan and with entrepreneurs-members of the organization.

ABC.AZ was informed at AZPROMO that deputy executive director Tural Hajili noted that our country has recently seen an increase in egg exports, and as part of export assistance, the Agency and the Exporters' Club will continue to support efforts to coordinate poultry and egg exporters with government agencies.

Murvat Hasanli, chairman of board of the Association of Poultry Meat Producers & Exporters, stressed that currently table eggs from our country are exported to 10 countries, and Azerbaijan is the leading exporter of table eggs in the region.

It was noted at the meeting that the export of table eggs from Azerbaijan to the UAE has high potential. A number of meetings had been held in this direction with the support of our country's Trade Mission in the UAE and progress had been made in alleviating the demands of the other side.
