May 20, Fineko/abc.az. China has imposed duties of up to 75% on imports of plastic (polyformaldehyde copolymer) from the USA, EU, Japan and Taiwan.

ABC.AZ informs that the decision was made after an anti-dumping investigation and comes into force on May 20. The duties will range from 3.8% to 74.9%. The measure affects products used in the automotive industry, medicine and household appliances.

This decision followed shortly after the temporary 90-day freeze of some duties between the U.S. and China. Also earlier, China imposed duties on European brandy in response to the EU investigation against Chinese electric vehicles.
