May 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2025, Azerbaijan exported 7,969 tons of hazelnuts for $53.86 million.

ABC.AZ informs, citing the State Customs Committee, that hazelnut exports increased by $12.313 million or 29.6% in value and by 1,181 tons or 17.4% in quantity versus Jan-Apr 2024.

The country exported 6,788 tons of nuts for $41.547 million for Jan-Apr 2024.

During this period, hazelnuts made up 0.61% of total exports and close to 5.04% of non-oil exports.

The average export price of 1 kg of hazelnuts for Jan-Apr 2025 was 11.49 manats (1.09 manats (10.4%) more than a year ago). Over Jan-Apr 2024, the average export value of 1 kg of nuts reached 10.41 manats.
