May 20, Fineko/abc.az. A Hungarian company will start operations at an onshore oilfield of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev as saying this at a joint press conference with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

The head of state stressed that new gas fields will be put into operation in Azerbaijan.

"We will provide Hungary with the necessary amount of gas. Azerbaijan occupies a leading position in terms of the supply of pipeline gas to consumers. Azerbaijan also cooperates with Hungary in the field of green energy. Over the next 5 years, Azerbaijan will produce 6 megawatts of green energy," he said.
