May 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2025, our country exported 5,27 tons of pomegranates for $4.299 million.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Customs Committee, that pomegranate exports grew by $1.35 million or 31.7% in value and by 1,376 tons or 37.7% in quantity versus Jan-Apr 2024.

For Jan-Apr 2024, Azerbaijan exported 3,651 tons of pomegranates for $3.263 million.

During this period, persimmons made up 0.05% of total exports and close to 0.40% of non-oil exports.

The average export price of 1 kg of pomegranate for Jan-Apr 2025 was 1.45 manats (7 gapiks (4.3%) lower than the annual figure). For Jan-Apr 2024, the average export value of 1 kg of pomegranate was 1.52 manats.
