May 21, Fineko/abc.az. As of January 1, 2025, 26% of business entities engaged in financial and insurance activities in Azerbaijan are women (995 people), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the report of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children for 2024.

According to the document, 992 female entrepreneurs were micro and 3 were small entrepreneurs.

By the end of 2024, there were 3,820 business entities operating in the financial and insurance sector in the country, of which 74%, or 2,825, were men.
