FT: Japanese companies may lose $27 billion because of duties

May 21, Fineko/abc.az. Leading Japanese companies may lose more than $27 billion because of import duties imposed by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, ABC.AZ reports, referring to British newspaper Financial Times (FT), citing its own calculations.

"In the event of recession in the U.S., the consequences could be even more significant. Companies, including Toyota, Sony and Mizuho, may lose over 4 trillion yens (approx. $27.6 billion)," the paper says.
