May 21, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 9,323.5 tons of butter for $65.474 million for Jan-Apr 2025, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Customs Committee.

Compared with Jan-Apr 2024, this indicator grew in value by $24.5 million or 59.8%, and in volume terms - by 1,387 tons, or 17.5%.

In the first 4 months of 2024, the country imported 7,936 tons of butter and other milk oils for $40.975 million.

The share of butter and other milk oils in total imports for Jan-Apr 2025 was 0.81%.

The average price per kg of imported butter increased by 35.2% for Jan-Apr 2025 and reached 11.9 manats.
