May 22, Fineko/abc.az. The National Bank of Kazakhstan will introduce a single interbank QR code for payments by the end of 2025, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Binur Zhalenov, adviser to the head of the National Bank. 

The launch of the service is scheduled for August. Freedom and RBK have already completed their work, and four more banks are joining the system.
Nine financial institutions, including Halyk Bank, Freedom, Altyn bank, RBK and Home Credit, will also start mobile transfers from June 2025.

The system will simplify payments for businesses and citizens, reduce the costs of banks and expand access to payment services.
