May 23, Fineko/abc.az. The opening of communications in the South Caucasus can play a significant role in the security of the region.

ABC.AZ informs that Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian made this message to his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Armenia's Independence Day.

Iranian President Pezeshkian expressed support for the opening of communication routes while respecting the territorial integrity of the countries, which, according to him, is important for peace and stability in the region.

According to Pezeshkian, his country is determined to expand and raise relations to the level of strategic partnership in the common interest, emphasizing in this context the importance of accelerating the implementation of joint projects in various fields related to transport, electricity, natural gas, increasing the volume of trade, and simplifying contacts between people.
