Turkish companies applied for participation in 118 projects in Karabakh

May 30, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish companies have applied for 118 projects to establish businesses in the territories liberated from occupation.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev, that activity of Turkish investors is growing in the occupation-liberated territories.

The deputy minister noted that foreign capital continues to be attracted to upgrade the existing infrastructure and build a new one in order to effectively use the alternative energy potential of the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions: "Dost Agropark, the first private agricultural complex established in the Karabakh and Zangezur regions, is one of the examples of joint cooperation in the territories liberated from occupation."

He added that Azerbaijan's favorable business and investment climate, benefits and incentives, as well as macroeconomic and financial stability contribute to the influx of foreign direct investments, which brings high technologies and knowledge to the country: "We invite entrepreneurs from our brotherly country to take advantage of Azerbaijan's rich economic potential and actively act. I am confident that the projects, business investments, and joint initiatives that we will implement on the basis of mutually beneficial partnership will further expand our cooperation."
