Trump signs a decree banning citizens of 12 countries from entering the U.S.

June 5, Fineko/abc.az. U.S. President Donald Trump has banned citizens from 12 countries from entering the United States because of the threat to national security, ABC.AZ reports, referring to a journalist of the CBS News channel, citing informed sources.

"President Trump signed a decree banning travel from several countries this evening," the journalist wrote on social media.

According to sources, the ban applies to citizens of 12 countries: Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

At the same time, partial restrictions on entry to the U.S. have been introduced for citizens of seven countries - Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela.
